Description
Water for Injection (WFI) is a highly purified, sterile water used in the preparation of medications and for dissolving or diluting substances for parenteral (injection) administration. It is free from pyrogens, bacteria, and other contaminants, and it meets strict pharmacopeial standards. WFI is commonly used in hospitals, laboratories, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Common uses:
Reconstituting freeze-dried medications like HGH, HCG, peptides, or antibiotics
Preparing injections for intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intravenous use
Note: It does not contain preservatives, so once opened, it should be used immediately or stored properly and discarded soon after.
